How do I download and sign up for OKX on desktop?

To get started on desktop, visit the OKX official website at www.okx.com, then download the app and create your account.

Step 1: Access the OKX official website

Go to www.okx.com in your browser. This is the only official OKX website.Note: if you can't access the site, check your network connection or try switching to a different network.

Step 2: Download the OKX desktop app

From the OKX official website (www.okx.com), select the Download icon > More options > Download desktop.

Step 3: Create your OKX account

Once the app is installed, follow these steps to register:

  2. Enter the email verification code sent to your inbox.

  3. Enter your phone number (select the corresponding country code) and select Next.

  4. Enter the SMS verification code sent to your phone.

  5. Set your password and select Confirm.

Note: you must be at least 18 years old to complete identity verification. Accounts without verification can't trade cryptocurrencies or access certain features.

Step 4: Back up your seed phrase and private key

After registration, back up your seed phrase and private key securely. If you lose access to these, they can't be recovered.
