What is the 30-day verified address feature?

OKX's withdrawal address book lets you verify addresses for either 30 days or permanently, giving you more flexibility in managing your withdrawal security.

How does the 30-day verification work?

When you verify an address for 30 days, you must make at least one withdrawal to that address within the 30-day period to keep it verified. If no withdrawal is made before the period ends, the verification expires and future withdrawals to that address will require security verification again.

Each time you make a withdrawal, the 30-day period resets from that date. For example, if you make a withdrawal on July 4, 2024 at 7:00 am UTC, the verification will remain active until August 3, 2024 at 7:00 am UTC.

What happened to my existing verified addresses?

Starting July 4, 2024 at 7:00 am UTC, all previously verified addresses in your withdrawal address book were placed on a 30-day expiry period. If you want to permanently verify any of these addresses, you can:

  1. Wait for the 30-day verification to expire, then re-verify the address as permanently verified.

  2. Delete the address and add it again as a permanently verified address.

How do I verify an address for 30 days?

When adding or verifying an address in your withdrawal address book, the default verification period is 30 days. To verify an address permanently instead, select Change verification period during the setup.

This feature is available on web and in the app (version 6.75 and above).
