What is TOWN (TOWN)?
Town Star is a popular play-to-earn blockchain-based game that has quickly cemented itself as one of the flagship games on the Gala Games network. Built on the Ethereum blockchain, Town Star was developed by former co-founder of Zynga Games, Eric Scheirmeyer, who was also responsible for the wildly successful social media game Farmville.
Town Star is a farming and town-building game with a competitive twist. Players grow crops, gather resources, hire workers and develop their world from a small farm to a thriving town, all while competing with other players and earning rewards paid out in TOWN tokens. Beyond that, the most successful players who top weekly leaderboards can earn GALA tokens.
Players can also purchase Town Star NFTs, such as buildings and water towers, to develop their town. These NFTs can be traded with other players or staked for TOWN tokens.
